We live in a world that is encompassed with technology. One of the features I recently discovered on some of my electronics is a reset button. In electronics and technology, a reset button is a button that can reset a device. On video game consoles, the reset button restarts the game, losing the player's unsaved progress. On personal computers , the reset button clears the memory and reboots the machine forcibly and reset buttons are found on circuit breakers to reset the circuit. As Christians we sometimes need to be reset to our manufacturers (God’s) settings for our life. How you may ask? Whenever the mind is confused, the spirit is troubled and you need release, I have learned to put the word of God in action. Philippians 4:4-9 helps to cover many disruptive thoughts and actions.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
